Would you like to walk the camino Portugués? And experience the unique feeling of pilgrimage? During your camino Portugués you walk in 7 stages from Tui to Santiago de Compostela. You follow the route from the famous camino to the pilgrim town of Santiago. The total number of kilometers is 125 and the stages are about 20 km per day. That may seem short, but keep in mind that it is not a flat route.

Imagine yourself in the Middle Ages
During your camino Portugués you start in the medieval town of Tui to Santiago de Compostela in green and natural Galicia. Located on the Minho River and the border with Portugal, Tui is the starting point for this beautiful pilgrimage. With its maze of small streets and famous cathedral, Tui is one of the most beautiful towns in Galicia. You pass Pontevedra with its beautiful bridge. Pontevedra has been the most important commercial center of this region since the Middle Ages. You will find many palaces, beautiful plazas and many richly decorated monasteries and churches.
After Caldas de Reis, the Camino Portugués runs through chestnut forests with eucalyptus trees. Via Padrón, famous for the green peppers, you reach Santiago de Compostela after a last climb. The final destination of your camino Portugués. Along the way you will enjoy the cultural richness, the delicious gastronomy and the cordiality of the local inhabitants.
